Rotary filling systems

A good out-of-state packaging solutions provider recently acquired a manufacturer of rotary filling systems for any liquids industry.

Covington, Kentucky-based ProMach said last week that it acquired Holland-based Fogg Filler.

Terms from the deal were not revealed.

ProMach said the inclusion of Fogg Filler continues the company’s growth in advanced filling capabilities — becoming a member of existing ProMach product companies Modern, Pacific and Fed — and bringing experience in extended shelf lifestyle (ESL) filling systems with regard to hot and cold programs, along with other gas systems for global food and beverage customers.

Started in 1956 by Clyde Fogg, Fogg Filler began like a small machinery rebuild shop and progressed gradually to become a gas machinery provider under the particular leadership and ownership of Clyde Fogg’s sons, Jon Fogg as well as Mike Fogg, and consequently his grandson, Ben Fogg.
Ben Fogg will continue to lead the company during its 107, 000-square-foot factory at 3455 John F. Donnelly Push in Holland, which employs over 170 people. ProMach will invest in Fogg’s team, brand, goods, services and facility to be able to “further advance its position being a leader in filling systems. ”

Fogg Filler

A classic equipment manufacturer (OEM), Fogg offers rotary filling, capping, package rinsing, cap sorting and cover sterilization systems to companies from the dairy, juice, water, drinking, food, pharmaceutical, chemical along with consumer packaged goods markets.

Fogg’s equipment is competent at filling carbonated and noncarbonated water containers, from flavored mineral water to wine, milk, orange juice, beer, kombucha and much more.

Its gravity and pressure gravity filling technologies can fill containers approximately 5 liters in width, with a machinery cover anything from up to 120 filling up valve systems that run at increases to 1, 200 baby bottles per minute to stream-lined footprint, entry-level systems with regard to smaller plants with lessen production rates.

All Fogg fillers are made to fit with Fogg’s some other equipment offerings, such while cappers, rinsers, sanitizers and skids and will be fully integrated towards monobloc filler/capper combinations or perhaps tribloc rinser/filler/capper combinations.
