世衛將H1N1疫情升到第五級，當然香港防疫行動亦嚴陣以待。
儘管表面上H1N1令墨西哥市面彷如死城，但周四我與幾位富經驗的醫生請教，防範固然有必要，但H1N1是否如沙士般恐怖，他們卻有保留。
首先他們異口同聲認為確診個案固然許多地方都有，但死亡個案九成九九都只在墨西哥，連美國唯一死亡個案也是墨西哥前往美國求醫之人(真累死美國)。墨西哥衛生環境如何，人民生活習慣如何，醫療水平如何，藥物充足情況如何，大家應會知道。
只要港人注意衛生，沙士的死亡枕藉情況將不會復見。我幾位醫生朋友們指出H1N1係有得醫，不像沙士起初般茫無頭緒，而且政府也吸收沙士時的經驗，一早布好陣。
疫症因人與人接觸而蔓延絕不出奇，但情況可能只係一般流感，確診可能會多，但絕大部分會痊瘉。
