Sunday is the Father’s day. Let us not forget our earthly father who has contributed so much to us both financially and spiritually. We also remind ourselves that we have a Heavenly Father who always loves us and cares for us.

I have received an email message from my son on 19 June 2009. He also sent me a song rehearsal recording of a song 頌親恩 of his Praise and Worship Team. I am so glad to hear their singing practice and understand his motive behind, especially prior to the Father’s day on 21 June 2009. The lyrics are as the following.

According to Jesus, the Kingdom of God is within (or among) people, is approached through understanding, and entered through acceptance like a child, spiritual rebirth, and doing the will of God. It is a kingdom peopled by the righteous.
Re-birth (重生) referred to repentance (turned away from sins) and accepted Jesus as Saviour and Lord.

標竿人生: 第二天 你的存在絕非偶然
神創造你是有原因的。他也決定你的生辰和壽數。聖經說：「在我還沒有出生以前，你已經認識我；我開始呼吸以前，你已經計劃好我一生的日子，並且把每一天記在你的冊上。」
神也計劃好你在哪裡出生以及在哪裡為他而活。你的國籍和種族也出自他的計劃，總之一切絕非偶然，全都是根據他的目的來計劃。聖經說：「他從一本造出萬族的人．．．．．．並且預先定准他們的年限和所住的疆界。」你生命中沒有隨意出現的事物，它們都是為了一個目的。

約翰 福音19 耶穌釘十字架:
23-24. 士兵把耶穌釘了十字架之後，就把他的衣服拿來，分成四分，每個兵一分。他們又拿他的內衣；這內衣是沒有縫的，是從上到下整件織成的。 因此，他們彼此說：我們不要把它撕開，我們來抽籤吧，看看是誰的。這就應驗了經上所說的：他們分了我的外衣，又為我的內衣抽籤。士兵果然這樣作了。詩 篇 22 :18 他們彼此分了我的外衣，又為我的內衣抽籤。 Other similar events: 28-29 使經上的話應驗，就說：我渴了。; 他們就拿海綿浸了酸酒，綁在牛膝草上，送到他的口裡。36. 要應驗經上所說的：他的骨頭，一根也不可折斷。37. 另有一處經文說：他們要仰望自己所刺的人.
These events happened a few hundreds years later after the prophecies were made, so as to fulfill what the bible had said. God is spirit and he is almighty. He knew things happened in human history, including the past, the present and the future. There is no limit for God in time. He knew the things that will happen before their occurrence.
Just one more sharing on 使 徒 行 傳 17: 26-27
26. 他從一個本源造出了萬族來，使他們住在整個大地上，並且定了他們的期限和居住的疆界，27. 要他們尋求神，或者可以摸索而找到他。其實他離我們各人不遠. In Acts 17:26-27, Paul proclaimed to some Athens that from one man God made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and God determined the exact times that they should live and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.
That is to say, God has pre-determined that e.g. Frankie lived in Kwun Tong from 2001 to 2025 so that Frankie can come to know more about God. Such matter is beyond the understanding of a human mind. That was pre-determined before we were born. This concept was also mentioned in the book of《標竿人生》
