不是賣花讚花香，也不知電視台有無做收視率調查，三季以來在有線電視主持的講古仔節目，不論是「馬不停題」、「球彩大聯民」抑或現在的「波馬縱橫」，在馬主廂房、會員廂房及真正馬圈中人之間，都成為茶餘飯後的話題。
原來不少馬圈中人是不睇貼士節目及不信貼士的。他們根本最信的就是自己，但對坊間不易得的資料(如血統及數據)可幫助他們參考，自然要信賴，而最重要的是馬圈一如社會縮影，新聞日日新鮮，也要快捷兼像時事評論般一針見血，這就是「波馬縱橫」節目的主要取向。
我絕對同意節目可以做得更好，但排位日是最忙的一天，節目流程表裏的資料、典故和照片也是由我公司提供，在短短準備時間裡，又要將話題發揮得淋漓盡致，絕不容易，而且大家都知道各主持有自己崗位，事事搶住做霸住做，節目就不平衡，所以我寧願在足球環節放鬆一下，讓拍檔盡情發揮，自己做綠葉。
至於能否在新聞和其他環節去得更盡，老實說，我已去得幾盡，過火不是我的風格，我也不打算做烈士。

To express anything at all one must work untill one can say what one means in its entirety otherwise one will express a peer groups distrust and desire to avoid the issue. The bottom line is to study practical, basic, fundemental, primary, ground level technicalities of domestic level to know for sure one is known for sure and this aspect goes far and beyond the experience of the
