五至七月是傳統買馬季節，這個論點可能有人不同意，但站在全球賽馬中心的香港，用宏觀視野來看，就明白此言非虛。
五至八月是紐西蘭的冬季，並無安排大賽，良駒通常伏驉，與其要養幾個月去等大賽上陣，不少馬主都肯賣馬。澳洲悉尼及墨爾本大賽都在春秋二季，五月開始級際賽在這兩省欠奉，而北上昆士蘭參加冬季大賽者，水準也公認未必及春秋二季般高。但當六月初跑完冬季大賽，手持兩歲或三歲好馬卻不夠一級的馬主，都會考慮換血，出貨是意料中事。英愛兩地三歲經典賽在五六月舉行，過了打比及皇家雅士谷，七月新市場已有馬賣，而在打比及雅士谷跑得好的佳駟，除非已在配種計劃，否則二三級盟主最佳賺錢方法，便是出售。
這幾個月我會全球奔馳，在香港蹤影不多，不過香港賽事處處有得看，我不會寂寞。

What is the common sickness on 2 yrs old colt or filly? Is the shin soreness a serious thing for the colt?
