Playing for Working

 (有人從工作中娛樂,有人娛樂著工作~也有人,沒有工作卻為工作娛樂著,總比起沒有工作卻為娛樂不努力想工作)

Playing cards is fun. In the social centre I previously worked for, pupils love to play Tarot Cards. It was really an interesting finding that, most of those card lovers are boys in their upper form of primary school!

So do their child-hearted ex-tutorial-teacher called Ivina. What Ivina plays with, however, are not Tarot Cards—but cards for children to know Chinese and English words by paying attention to the graphics! I practiced a small quiz about my fortune this morning, while the 4 cards I drawn were: Sharp, Young, Greedy and Narrow. That seems to be happening with my career path! I gave the result an explanation here: http://www.hkheadline.com/blog/reply_blog.asp?f=27BN6X14KT61520&id=46633

After some efforts in revising notes about design, desktop publishing and languages, I got a nap—what a difficult day to deal with if that nap never happened! So hot(without air-conditioning at home), so tiring, and so daunting for me to live up with after burning some ‘mid-night oil’ for finding jobs.

It is really refreshing for having a bath. I got a great idea soon after walking pass my ‘Tarot Cards’: How about getting topics out from the cards for some drawing or design exercises?

But getting a topic to work out on is never an easy task. The third time was better for a full picture of what I could present…‘Muddy, Old, Cheap, and…Angry?’ I thought of an incident: One day, a driver with his old car passed across a road conjunction. He did not realise how muddy the other street corner would be, therefore he was nervous with the splashed car and dirty tires. What happened next?

The screen can be divided into two parts—left and right. They show us extremely different scenes: the right one is the driver with mud all over his body angrily throwing his car-seller’s namecard away, while the left one is the driver with a smile sitting in his brand-new car with a namecard of a car-recycling factory. Then, a man came out from the mid-bottom of the screen and started to say, ‘You probably prefer a happy ending, aren’t you? Your old car also does. Ring our consultancy hotline at 23456789 for any solution about cars. 2345,6789, HaHaHa's Car Recycling Factory-- your best company.’

This is the script for a TV advertisement, but what I am going to c reate is a poster which would be post here later. Thanks a lot to my not-so-happy mood after the end of my working contract which brought me to shopping and bought those cards. However, such happiness after sadness is always accompanied by 'money-drought'.

後記:意粉的腦袋除了完全入睡的不能自已的時間,其他時間總停不下,很難靜下來,唯有用心打字的時候,幻想自己在彈琴,彈奏著美妙、叫自己陶醉的音樂--因為我不懂得彈琴。
