Film Review - The Interview
The Interview, after stripping off the halo of freedom of speech, a mere Class B movie. The film is nothing but an American tall tale. The director presents a stereotypical view of a foreign country, depicts indulgence of American society in sex and drugs, and demonstrates the US politicians' naivety towards revolution/democracy.
Still you may finish your popcorn within the two-hour show.
For those fond of thinking, perhaps we should doubt if the mass media may indeed be our eyes and ears of the real world. Should we first query their stance and prejudice?
In today's "Big Data" world, how could we learn and keep thinking independently?
A corollary question is deification. What are the insidious effects? What can we do with it? Resist it?
