Film Review - The Hobbit Part III

If you have ever seen the novel, The Hobbit, you must be amazed by the skill and talent of the director and his team in turning such a tiny short book (compared to the colossal Lord of the Rings series) into a trilogy with a total length of over five hours.

The audience should not be surprised to find that the third instalment of the Hobbit just comprise of two parts. First, the doomed death of the dragon. Secondly, the Battle of the Five Armies. 

The audience should not complain though, as from the very beginning, The Hobbit was written as the prologue to The Lord of the Rings. Besides, thanks to advanced technology, the fighting scenes are spectacular.

All in all, the movie is entertaining, particularly for those who like CG and/or fans of the Lord of the Rings. I vouch you will not doze off.

However, for those who wish to save some bucks, who can wait or who are contented with 2D, watching the movie at home when the DVD is out is not an outrageous option. (Sorry, Mr. Baggins!)
