Mid-year Review
How is your life so far this year?
Wonderful? Fantastic? Successful?
Never mind if you feel not satisfied. Dissatisfaction will nudge you to change and change brings about opportunities. Enjoy the process! Fully utilise the remaining six months to achieve your goals.
Before embarking on the journey, it would be good to briefly have a review of the past six months. The author wrote in the blog dated 2 April about Q1 review.
Here is the review for Q2 and the first half year for sharing.
1. Daily exercise
Had done almost daily a minimum of 10 minutes stretching.
Working on the target of arriving at office 10 minutes before the official reporting time.
2. Standing on one foot
Quite confident by now to stand on one foot with eyes open for one minute.
But with eyes closed, success rate is still on the low side. Shall try different postures to see if results would be different.
3. Body weight
By the end of June, only got 130 pounds (134 as of 31 March).
Target is to have 138-143 pounds by the end of 2016.
The weight loss is probably due to less than desirable sleep quality and increased work load. Taking steps and making efforts to deal with vertigo, gallstones, stomachache and leg pain.
Should readers know of ways to remove longstanding bruise in the left knee, let me know.
4. Blog-writing
Posted 54 blogs in the first half year. As expected in the beginning of the year, work load has increased and hence less time for writing.
Total number of blogs set for this year is 104. With the addition of one gentleman to the department, with determination and most importantly with support of the readers, the author is still optimistic that the said goal can be achieved.
5. Others
Had a memorable trip outside Hong Kong in April (see blog of 2 May).
Watched several movies and completed reading a book in Q2.
Dear readers, may I urge you to look back for the purpose of identifying areas that you have done well and directions that you should focus your effort on in the coming months.
Know your goal. Work on it.
Have a best than ever 2016!
Thank you for regards of friends.
No pain no gain.
Do hope all the pains will go, go away by the end of Q3.
