査詢英國升學的最佳選擇

本人女兒現年19歲，已經在英國完成GCSE O Level課程，並繼續在英國修讀A level upper six課程，IELTS 7, 有興趣將來在海外修讀酒店管理，英國的University of Surrey/ University of Brighton巳經作出有條件取錄 ；同時，瑞士的Swiss Hotel Management School巳經取錄女兒的申請。希望 章先生能夠對以上大學／學院提出寶貴意見，以供參考，使我們能夠作出有關決定。

University of Surrey 是一間優良公立大學大學，認受性很高；University of Brighton 是名符其實的國際性大學，每年吸引不同背景的學生就讀，比較著重職業技能，因此就業率很高。
至於瑞士的Swiss Hotel Management School ，是所非常優秀的教授酒店管理大學。需考慮的是：女兒是否將來會從事酒管行業。如果是，Swiss Hotel Management School 是個十分良好的選擇。

小女是上屆DSE 學生，best 5 成積有30分。4月中才報ucas讀物理治療.
心儀的大學巳full,報了以下大學
1) Birmingham
2) Cardiff
3) Conventry
4) Keele
5) Northumbria
英國現在只有conventry 及Keele 巳取錄
Birmingham 有interview ,但不取錄
Cardiff ,沒有interview ,不取錄
Northumbria 未有通知
現在點處理比較好，CONVENTRY 或 KEELE 那一間比較好？實習那一間比較容易找到？
Clearing 之後有沒有機會入到其他大學

你好，CONVENTRY 及 KEELE 都是好大學。
如要比較， CONVENTRY 比較新，而KEELE 是傳統老牌大學，名氣亦比CONVENTRY 大。
至於實習，在乎該是女兒的能力。兩所大學都提供多實習渠道，可是仍要依賴成績、面試表現來取決。
讀物理治療的話，Clearing 之後有機會入其他大學。

My son got offers from five colleges. We are not sure which to choose. My son likes a more carefree style. He is not good academically at school in HK ( a prestige band 1 school), but actually he can do well if he is willing to, eg he is able to get grade A/B in ICT. His ielts score is 7.0.
He likes to have a career in film. He is going to take Film Studies, Computer science and economics, if possible, a BTEC level 3 in Media Studies as it would be more practical abd interesting. We think it would be easier to get high grade, as this is equivalent to one A level and may make him easier to get into the university. Is this thinking right ?
The five colleges are :
The richard collyers college
Richard Huish (no film studies)
King edward stourbridge
Brockenhurst college
The Lsst priory academy
Our top priority is The richard collyers as it provides A level and BTEC subjects.
Would u pls give us some recommendation

Richard Huish is a good option. It is a college with outstanding academic performance, personal and professional support services.
It provides media studies A/AS Level, Drama & Theatre Studies AS / A2 Level and Photography AS / A Level.
The courses are related to filming, which are suitable for your son.

本人兒子在香港就讀男女小學五年級，現在希望開始申請英國一些好寄宿學校，希望找高等學術水平而平衡發展的中學，讓他自我追求學習，不會有太多香港及中國人。請問有那些中學好？ 請問您怎樣看及排Charterhouse, Sevenoaks, Dulwich, Brighton and Whitgift？謝謝您指點。

這些都是有名的高學術學校，如要選擇需看兒子技能和興趣。
老牌名校，如兒子想同時發展運動技能，Charterhouse 傳統男校（將在2021 年有女生），這所學校相當不錯。
藝術發展，如歌唱、寫作，則選Sevenoaks。
