"Tao Kit two days ago on air said the min wage deal was passed given employers could not reach compromise/consensus with the employees and he deduced that there would not be much understanding this time--well--given high FC (fixed cost) aka rental etc, price takers can only work on VC (variable cost). So deducting wages by all possible means is an inevitable option. Many chinese restaurants do not carry over once the landlords raise rents so F&B  is not a "continuing operation" LOL I think these are just DSE level stuffs  "
