老母

朋友問，為何"老母”這個詞總是給人不禮貌的感覺。
我估計是這個詞與粗口很接近吧！
這個“老"字其實很有趣的。第一，老可以用作形容詞，例如:老人，老態，老眼，老馬等。第二，老可以是指自己的稱謂，例如:老娘，老子，老孫(孫悟空)。第三，老可以是指稱對方的，例如:老公，老婆，老豆，老頂，老友，老友記等。
有些廣東話俗語，也配上這個老字，例如:老死(死黨，很好的朋友)。
要研究這個老字，要翻閱一下文獻啊！但隨便說說的話，就只想到這一些呢！
