BERGENFIELD — The proposal to make a SkyZone Trampoline Park has become approved for South Washington Avenue on the site of the former Sears Equipment and Hardware Store.
The Bergenfield Zoning Snowboard approved the preliminary and also final site plan to the facility at its meeting yesterday.
David Weinberg of Ohio-based MODA4 Layout, representing the trampoline job, sought variances to repurpose the actual building for indoor vacation use. The building, which is currently zoned for list use, was a skating rink in advance of Sears moved in.
The plan normally requires the facility to enjoy 28, 072 square feet in the 33, 005 square-foot building, with the remaining space for being used by a foreseeable future tenant.
