問：My daughter age 14 who study in hk girl school. Her school report not good at all but her ILETS sample test score is 6 & 6.5. It is held from two different school agency which i m not sure the mark is truly reflect my daughter's ability or not. ILETS exam include 4 core topic. Is it same as HK education syllabus?? I m glad to hear if you can provide some good reputation of education ctr about ILETS training or lesson. On the other hand, please kindly provide more information about Badminton School, Roedean School & Caterham School?

覆：依你的說法，你所參加的IELTS模擬考試跟實際的相乎，然而與其參加認受性不高的模擬考試，倒不如正式報考IELTS。另外，升學中心一般不會提供IELTS應考訓練，你可以留意一下坊間大型補習社，有不少課程可供選擇，你可以應孩子需要報讀。簡單而言，三所學校之中，以Badminton的成績最優秀，Caterham亦不俗；Roedean會考成績亦屬全英一百名以內，但對比上述兩所學校，成績有一段距離。本欄曾經詳細介紹過Caterham，你可以在網上翻閱；另外兩所學校亦會不日介紹，敬請留意。

答：一般來說報校時間該為入學前的一年半，現在大部分尤其是較好的學校均已截止報名。但十二月到一月份不少學校會有後補學位，所以仍然可以一試。你可以透過中介公司，或留意各校網頁直接報校。有關選校或其他報校問題，你不妨於選定一兩所學校後透過facebook inbox留言約見，以便討論。
