SIGHT AND SOUND 前主編一篇講話
20/10/2016 我在LONDON 看這段新聞時，我的內心真的很難過。我很感謝神，神真的是一個奇妙的編導，剛巧在同日晚上，SHIRLEY 在自己FACEBOOK 戶口看到這段新聞，她透過ALAN 跟我說，很想我寫篇文章。

請問在座的大中華朋友們，
是什麽原因令一個英國人，一個中國人在同一天，雖然是不同時間，不同地域，看同一段新聞呢?
容許我問在座的大中華聖公會，基督教等信徒，
你們怎樣去看以下的經文呢?

容許我問在座的大中華朋友一個問題，
是什麽原因促成這群弱勢社群選擇用自殺去解決自身的問題呢?
容許我問在座的大中華朋友一個問題，
我在2010 年所寫關於富士康公司的文章，
可有跟這段新聞有互相呼應的地方呢?
城巿與鄉村的上流性，一個城巿的繁榮，會影響人口流動性。
農村欠缺發展機會，會吸引青年人往城巿打工去達成夢想。
在一眾以獨生子女為主的家庭背景下，
當一位工人在家是獨大的，
來到城巿是變成最微細的，
身份的劇變會對個人造成沖擊。
一個人從一個簡單的生活環境去進入一個複雜的生活環境，所倚靠是個人自身的心理素質。
同一屋簷下，每個人的性格都尚有不同時，更何況來到一個人煙密集的社會。
在這群找工作的工人，
心中渴望去改善自身的生活條件，
但當期望和自身所得不符時，
慢慢會造成心病。
有些人對自身要求較高，當個人所付出和所收獲出現誤差時，
會直接影響個人對事情的看法。
有些時候，付出不等如收穫，
例如: 愛情。
在一個陌生環境下，要找一個能夠訴心事的人不容易，還要担心訴心事後會否遭人無限度放大。
每個人處於職場，要提防別人會否傷害自己，
人與人之間不存在信任，
加上自身的鬱結，
在無限度被放大的情況下，
便會變成無可挽救的悲劇。
尋求幫助的人，不一定是問題最嚴重的人，最危險的是會是性格越接近內向的人。
因為這群人不會輕易去信任一個人，
尤其是處於一個冷漠的環境，
坦心相信了別人而遭到出賣，從而影響到自身的工作和利益。
中國是一個需要時間去慢慢改進的國家，不可能一下子期望會由最低層去作翻天覆地的改善。
容許我問在座的大中華領導人一個問題，
你們可曾去想想，
農村自殺率偏高所衍生的社會問題呢?
容許我問在座的大中華領導人分享我的見解。
年青人往城巿打工。
作為一個英國人和一個旁觀者，我看出了這個是很嚴重的問題。
容許我問在座的大中華朋友一個問題，
一個家庭男主要成員出外工作，只有女主要成員，老人家和男女主要成員所生的孩子在家時，
要是有立心不良的人對這個家庭作出歪念，
有誰能夠保護這個家庭呢?
容許我問在座的大中華朋友一個問題，
要是農村生活的收入微薄，
當一個家庭入不敷支時，
有什麽方法會是得到金錢最快速的途徑呢?
從這段新聞中，
我感覺到搶掠，掳走兒童或婦女的情況在中國農村區域會是司空見慣之事。
當搶掠，掳走兒童或婦女的事成為了慣常時，
所產生的社會問題，
家庭問題，
能否靠着國家的執法機構單一解決呢?
當搶掠，掳走兒童或婦女的事發生在自己身上時，
這個家庭會採用什麽方法和手段去作出回應呢?
要是這個家庭選擇用激進手法作出回應時，
對整個社會，
整個地區所作出的傷害又會有多大呢?
要是每一個受影響的家庭都同樣用激進手法去解決問題時，
對整個國家又會構成什麽樣的影響呢?
容許我問在座的大中華朋友一個問題，
你們怎樣去看 John F. Kennedy 這段說話呢?
不要問國家能夠為你做甚麼，要問你自己能夠為國家做甚麼。
Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country
當國家未能為這群弱勢社群作出援手時，
我們能為這些弱勢社群作什麽呢?
容許我問在座的大中華聖公會，基督教等信徒一個問題，
當神感動你們去為這群弱勢社群伸出援手時，
你們可會因為自己國家所作所為而作出拒絕的理由呢?
曾經有許多人問我，我為什麽會選擇教SHIRLEY 而不是他們。
容許我跟在座各位分享以下故事，
2011 年，我在寫2001 : A SPACE ODYSSEY OPENING TITLE 時曾經寫下以下說話，
1) 嚴厲處理黑心食品問題，並嚴重處分製造黑心食品的人仕。
2) 嚴厲處理官員貪污問題，並嚴重處分有關人仕。
我曾經問了SHIRLEY 以下問題。
你可曾担心你幫我寫文章時，你會不能再進入中國內地呢?
SHIRLEY說，
我是担心的，但我看到李翔時，我感覺到這個國家還有希望。
容許我問在座的大中華朋友一個問題，
你們怎樣去看李翔先生短暫的一生呢？
李翔先生為著報導地溝油事件，犠牲了自己寶貴的生命，
這位李翔先生愛國嗎？
這位李翔先生所做的一切可對得起整個國家，整個民族呢？
我不知道在座的大中華朋友們怎樣去看李翔先生，
但我清楚知道，
李翔先生感動我去為這個不熟悉，而且是從未踏足過的國家去做點事。
我為著李翔先生而向神作出以下誓言。
當2012年年尾，有位來自大中華地區影視製作工作者跟我談及李翔先生之事，我深為李翔先生的風骨所折服，我願意收取一位大中華血統人士作為我最後的一個學生，因著耶穌基督之名，我會盡我所能，揭盡我的所有去教授這位學生。
嚴格來說，
SHIRLEY 不是我的學生，
但SHIRLEY 是我教過這麽多人中，
唯一一個中學程度的人，
能夠讓我花時間跟她分享EQUAL CONCEPT 理念的人。
EQUAL CONCEPT 是一個很艱深的課程，
是一個包含製作系，影劇系，美術系，設計系，攝影系等，
是我所教的11 個學系同一時間學習的課程，
我有很多學生，
碩士程度，
連最基本的理念都說不出來，
更何況是一個連大學程度都沒有的人呢?
我不曾想像，
SHIRLEY 完全不懂剪接，
不懂攝影，
不懂美術，
甚至是很多EQUAL CONCEPT 需要的知識，
例如白平衡，
黑平衡等，
她都不懂時，
竟能夠籍着神的帶領，
憑着讀主任牧師VICAR NICKY GUMBEL 的BIBLE IN ONE YEAR，
2 年3 個月的時間，
能夠講出EQUAL CONCEPT中最基本的CONCEPT。
你們可曾想像，
神給人的智慧是何等浩翰，何等偉大呢?
曾經有人問我，
怎樣才有聰明才智?
在我個人而言，敬 畏 耶 和 華 是 知 識 的 開 端。
1:7 [hb5] 敬 畏 耶 和 華 是 知 識 的 開 端 ． 愚 妄 人 藐 視 智 慧 和 訓 誨 。
[kjv] The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
[bbe] The fear of the Lord is the start of knowledge: but the foolish have no use for wisdom and teaching.
但單單這樣是不夠。
容許我跟在座的大中華朋友們分享以下故事。
One young man applied for a managerial position with a big company. He passed the initial interview, and now would meet the director for the final interview.
The director discovered from his CV that the young man's academic achievements we...re excellent. He asked: “Did you obtain any scholarships in school?” the youth answered “no”.
” Was it your father who paid for your school fees?”
“My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.” he replied.
” Where did your mother work?”
“My mother washed clothes for other people.”
The director requested the youth to show his hands. He showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.
”Have you ever helped your mother wash these clothes before?”
“Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Besides, my mother can wash clothes faster than me."
The director said, “I have a request. When you go home today, go and clean your mother’s hands, and then see me again tomorrow morning."
The young man felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back home, he asked his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to her son.
The youth cleaned his mother’s hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that. It was the first time he noticed that his mother’s hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother winced when he touched it.
This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fees. The bruises in the mother’s hands were the price that the mother paid for his education, his school activities and his future.
After cleaning his mother hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.
That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.
Next morning, the young man went back to the Director’s office.
The Director noticed the tears in his eyes, when he asked: “Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?”
The youth answered, ”I cleaned my mother’s hand, and also finished washing all the remaining clothes’
“I know now what appreciation is. Without my mother, I would not be who I am today. By helping my mother, only now do I realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done on your own. And I have come to appreciate the importance and value of helping one’s family."
The director said, “This is what I am looking for in a manager. I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life.”
“You are hired.”
什麽人是最聰明呢?
就是擁有這段說話的人。
