周三馬會公布了抽馬結果，無論中PP抑或PPG籤的馬主或團體，都要有心理準備，買馬預算會遠高於往年！
澳洲已跑完冬季嘉年華的一級大賽，馬價已趨正常化，但因澳元高企及周歲價硬淨，一捷城市馬場的三歲馬動輒叫價二百萬港幣以上，有級制賽成績或達到換馬補替籤資格的香港八十五分馬，叫價起碼三百五十多萬以上，比香港拍賣會最低價錢還高。紐西蘭亦不見得好，試閘冠軍，普通的已要二十萬紐元，睇得上眼的PP，隨時也要二百萬港元。
這幾周不是歐洲買馬季節，因為跑完英法打吡後，下周是皇家雅士谷賽期，精英雲集，人人充滿期望，怎會在賽前平價賣馬？更何況那些我常在告訴各位的二、三十匹馬角逐的讓磅賽，如不列顛錦標，就是在雅士谷賽日舉行，跑完方知哪匹好？
大家都知道，打吡冠軍兼一哩王「奧運精神」，佳駟如「飛馬王子」、「厚利多」都是出自這個賽期，連「富盈」、「財到得勝」都絕非弱者。買歐洲馬，跑完愛爾蘭打吡及英國日蝕賽期，二三級馬再無大賽目標，他們才肯以較合理價錢割愛！
