檳城開埠比香港為早，一七八六年八月已開埠，而彼邦保留的古跡，有不少已列入聯合國教科文組織的文化遺產名單。
今次是自己首次到訪，而雖然部分街道和設施仍略落後，但馬來風土味濃厚。
在觀覽文化遺產之餘，自己選擇了在海灘旁的渡假酒店。固然有多樣水上活動，但難忘的是起床時仍聽到雞啼聲，頓覺心曠神怡。晚上也有夜市，售賣土產，大把講價空間，這些鄉村特色，香港早已灰飛煙滅。
以前去馬來西亞去過吉隆坡及馬六甲，前者已全現代化，後者則是歷史古城。檳城則揉合二者。馬來西亞賽馬由MRA統籌，三大馬場分別是吉隆坡、檳城及怡保。新加坡以前也歸入MRA，但九十年代自成一派。
馬來西亞目前平均獎金比新加坡為低，有點像紐西蘭對澳洲。但過往名人如黃庭芳(信和黃志祥之父)，孫以文等，養過不少名駒在馬來一帶，而孫以文的誓約馬房夥拍名練馬師鄭春明，旋風席捲東南亞——紅衫金布絮橫間的綵衣，是世界唯一的壯舉呢！

Linguistics and vocabulary play the most important part of communication. Gaps of data in verbal communication only provide confusion.
To express anything at all one must work untill one can say what one means in its entirety otherwise one will express a peer groups distrust and desire to avoid the issue. The bottom line is to study practical, basic, fundemental, primary, ground level technicalities of domestic level to know for sure one is known for sure and this aspect goes far and beyond the experience of the
