真有點可惜電視無直播，否則大家可以一睹兩個亞運開幕，同時是這麼精采。
當港隊操入會場，全場歡呼和掌聲雷動，「半個主場」果然名不虛傳。來到廣州我聽到老街坊說，國家隊固然要支持，但廣州偏安南隅，以講廣東話為主，論親切，始終是香港同聲同氣。而今次亞殘運，廣東隊甚至廣州代表有多少能入選國家隊，大家心中有數；所以港隊無論在亞運或亞殘運都獲廣州市民及觀眾熱烈支持，大抵就是上述原因。
當然今次亞殘運開幕禮不是安排在海心沙島，設計有所不同，但在運動場內，傷健一家親的訊息十分明顯。我與香港殘疾人奧委會執委及幹事們，都熱切期得著港隊登場。上屆在遠南運動會，香港獲十多金，今屆是首屆亞殘運，共十九體育項目，香港參加十四項，且看能否再締佳績？

The bottom line is to study practical, basic, fundemental, primary, ground level technicalities of domestic level to know for sure one is known for sure and this aspect goes far and beyond the experience of the
