如果論謝展鵠，先在肯達百利城市馬場贏馬，再騎「但求贏」捧走春季冠軍大賽，繼後亦再贏玫瑰崗堅尼。但因為失落維省打吡及澳洲打吡，就被彼邦傳媒批評得體無完膚。相比之下，梁家俊只在鄉鎮鶴斯貝里贏馬，但贏的是模罕默酋長旗下馬匹，又有白德民穿針引線，而社交網絡一面倒的讚譽和支持，彼邦傳媒因為有澳洲人穿針引線自然也不敢攻擊。
謝展鵠與梁家俊在不同年代，不想比擬他們的騎功。但我肯定的說若謝展鵠在現代才騎「但求贏」奪得兩場一級賽頭馬，其他就已經不重要了。因為社交網絡的力量，往往已主導了傳統傳媒。君不見絕大部份香港報章，都是引述網絡意見？
當年任永賢及張敬石起用謝展鵠去夥拍「但求贏」跑外國大賽，是個勇敢的決定，我說的不單只是澳洲，還有日本盃。固然有贏有輸，卻也在歷史上留下印記。如今香港馬主在外國養馬出賽而不作運港用途者，已愈來愈少了，更遑論用華將誓師。
