我知道有四間旺區投注站因示威持續，國慶日無開門。我知道中央因佔中上周無批團來港。
但與去年比較，兩個馬場入場人數狂跌百分之廿三，投注額也跌了近一億一千萬，差不多有百分之十。雖然馬會一向不公布有多少注碼來自大陸，以及有多少入場人士由內地來港，但今次暴跌的數字可以告訴各位，內地注碼和入場人數，其實對香港賽馬有頗大的影響。
當然四個旺區投注站無開，會令注碼減少，但馬迷安坐家中，一樣可透過電話或網上投注，不一定去投注站，而且一間關門，另一間開放，移船就磡十分普遍，也可因此而入場。我也不相信佔中佔旺佔銅的學生，會是入馬場的中堅分子。
若佔中持續，若中港矛盾升級，對香港賽馬業是首當其衝。我們這個產品近年其實一早已「國際化」，靠本地市場的百分比可能愈來愈低，原因為何？不打算在此分析，只是告訴各位佔中愈久，香港無一行業會倖免。
