別的馬會有更悠久的歷史，卻沒有我們的規模。
別的馬會可能有更廣闊的場地，卻未必有幾乎場場爆滿的馬匹以及次次數以萬計的入場人士。
別的國家在投注站數目以及投注戶口數目可能多於我們，但香港小小一個彈丸之地，投注額天天拍得住甚至超過墨爾本盃賽日。
一百三十年來，我們見證著香港賽馬急速發展，也意味着對社會的責任(透過慈善捐獻)也愈來愈大。但這個營運模式，卻是全球最成功，最令人欽羨的。
神奇百萬大賽我自二零零三年起年年參加後不間斷，今次亦有他們董事房的邀請，但香港馬會一百三十周年，我改機票也趕回港，不是只為一杯酒會裏的酒水，抑或董事廂房的邀請，而是見證一頁歷史。
既然皇家雅士谷三百周年以及墨爾本盃一百五十周年我也適逢其會，無理由在自己家鄉一百三十周年不出席吧？試試在當日照片中找找我！
