不打算評論男士愛賭馬賭波，女士愛打牌、上賭船、過大海的數據，但其中一位復康中心的主任告訴傳媒，近年有許多市民投入股市中豪賭，有多人背負幾十萬債項求救。
股市近年如過山車般上落，加上衍生工具活躍以及電子媒體分分秒秒有股市消息，根本就已成為香港最大的「賭場」──自己是經濟系出身也唸過財經分析，但在香港根本就用不著理論，自己鍾意邊個股評家貼(管他有無利益衝突)，投資的銀碼比賭馬賭波大幾十甚至幾百倍。
當然藍籌股跌極都有價值，但大家看近年期權和仙股的上落和市民參予的數量，就知道除基金及大行以衍生工具對沖風險外，參予的市民根本視之為賭博。
我真替香港賽馬業不值，男士為主的賽馬日一日投注額連十億也不夠，同股市隨時過一千億根本無得揮，卻被別有用心人仕痛罵──這位康復中心主任說得好，○五至○七年間，原來女性前來求助的個案升了百分之五十！
