劉翔因傷退下火綫，網上同情者有之，攻擊者亦有之。昨日鳥巢坐無虛席，劉翔退出後，場內的觀眾差不多走了一半，而跨欄決賽門券也因而大跌價。繼後有許多學者或專家紛紛走出來解釋劉翔的傷患，這又涉及到訓練方面。
我不是甚麼運動專家，但也有參予過訓練殘奧運動員和帶隊參加殘奧資格賽，我可以告訴各位，運動員的毅力的確十分驚人，明明勞損跡象已十分明顯，換上是常人已痛到喊救命，但他們的毅力往往能突破我們想像中的極限。這一如李寧在開幕禮「飛天」一樣，以他四十五歲之齡我真不敢相信他能夠完美地做到「夸父追日」的動作去點火。而我相信你們問問郭晶晶或程菲的醫生，他們也可能也會告訴你晶晶或程菲如何去抵受傷患的折磨。唯一不同的是晶晶奪金，各界的注意力已落在四杖金牌上；而程菲雖有失誤，亦為體操隊搶金成功。
