其實甲組或港職聯都只是一個稱呼，球市問題是球隊搞手的專業態度，資金流向以及持續投入。
有一點各位讀者要清楚，就是足總是香港在國際足協及亞洲足協唯一被承認的香港代表，就算有港人有大量資金或熱忱，都不可能繞過足總去搞職業足球，否則就會冒被國際足協及亞洲足協杯葛之險。
除班費及資助兩個大問題之外，香港足運長期受場地問題困擾。就算有多位熱心班主人人一擲千金去搞，難道場場也在大球場捱貴租嗎？目前香港甲組隊伍，不少是一個班主搞一兩隊，其實也克服了廿一世紀初甲組只得八九隊的問題(更有香港○八濫竽充數)。如今再將隊伍縮少，來來去去都是熟悉面孔對壘，球迷也不會多。
球市另一個癥結是有貨比貨，以前無英超歐聯直播，當然會睇精工對寶路華，宜家英超場場播，歐聯勁到爆，南華連亞協盃也未必打到入八強，又怎能寄望球市回復當年呢？
搞真正港職聯應在香港全盛的七八十年代，錯過了好時機，點搞都冇用。
