Punishments

Punishments can be divided into 2 main streams, namely intrinsic and extrinsic. Intrinsic punishments, according to investigations, bring more effective results than extrinsic ones.
Listed are 4 kinds of intrinsic punishment:
1. Verbal reprimand: “Eating drugs can harm the urinate system.”
2. Response cost: “Dumping rubbish onto the street fines you 1500HKD”.
3. Logical consequence: “Not paying domestic expenses, do all the domestic works by yourself.”
4. Time-out: “When this girl goes crazy, leave her alone.”
Listed are 4 kinds of extrinsic punishments:
1. Physical punishment: “After beating, the hand will be too painful to do homework.”
2. Psychological punishment: “Being regarded as a lazy-pig, the kid even pay less attention to the tutor.”
3. Extra classwork: “Still can leave them alone.”
4. Out of school suspension: “Time all used to sleep.”
