當然有偏激的電台主持立即無限上綱上綫發炮，但似乎得不到坊間主流意見的支持。部分八十後的過激行為，的確不得民心，這是鐵一般的事實。
覺得今次是司長試水溫，測試傳媒和市民對這類言論的認受性，從而開始部署日後的競選策略，雖然司長要面對的選民無八十後存在的選委，但也要得到主流民意大多數市民，選委們才投得放心。唐司長一向予人的感覺是不慍不火，溫文有禮，今次綿裏藏針，投這個炸彈，發覺原來連部鈕泛民作者也在某程度上接受，這是他挑戰特首寶座的喜訊。
我相信主流市民喜歡一個有禮但硬淨的領袖，要鎮得住場，有人胡言亂語便方寸大亂的人坐擁高位，非港人之福。察納雅言固然重要，但無的放矢的噪音，聽完之後，當左耳入右耳出便算，禮貌地向這些人說聲多謝意見，已盡了本分。請記住真正的好領袖不是甚麼意見也聽然後照住執行的。
