中美經濟前景繼續保持穩定

        美國眾議院已達成共識，結束聯邦政府局部關閉的局面。美國政府將獲提供資金直至明年1月15日，債務上限則延長至明年2月7日，避免了因債務違約而引起的市場波動。標準普爾500指數昨日（16日）單日升1.38%；行業方面，醫療保健和金融行業板塊升超過2%。地區經濟報告褐皮書表示美國整體經濟在9月至10月初的表現仍繼續温和擴張，通脹維持在中期2%目標內，而最新8月份失業率從年初7.9%降至7.3%。美國目前的基本因素仍然較其他主要的經濟體系良好。此外，10年期債券收益率已大幅回落。

        中國的基本因素亦相當穩定，通脹繼續溫和上升，9月份通脹按年增加3.1%，仍能維持於今年的目標3.5%左右，而官方及匯豐製造業活動則維持在擴張水平50以上。然而，人行於17日停止了逆回購操作，令股市受挫，上證綜合指數兩日內下跌2%；而MSCI中國A股指數3個月的回報為5.67%，顯示投資者心態仍然較為謹慎。
