短途霸主「崇山寶」贏百週年紀念盃後，再拿下杜拜阿喬斯短途錦標，倘若明年肯遠征，澳洲閃電錦標應是其囊中物。後起之秀「神舟十號」若非潘頓一役，至今亦是未敗之師。
「步步友」是未來最有資格取代同主馬「步步穩」，以及三奪香港一哩錦標的「好爸爸」，成為新一哩王。看其早前摧枯拉朽贏主席錦標，下周的冠軍一哩賽應是囊中之物。
「威爾頓」是「黎明路向」蹄下敗將，來港後卻大有進步，本周日的女皇盃，港隊由牠擔當攻堅主將，迎擊日本的勁旅「神威啟示」。無獨有偶，兩匹都是四歲馬！
