今日在皇家雅士谷作客，曾在本欄說過五天的皇家雅士谷賽期日日都有不同特色。今日重頭戲是威爾頓親王錦標，頒獎嘉賓自然是皇儲查理斯王子及其夫人卡米拉。
英女皇伊利莎白二世一樣會在二時出巡，乘坐馬車由咸頓宮出發，沿雅士谷的草地直路到馬場，然後在沙圈下車，接受群眾歡呼才上樓。英女皇今季賽駒並無像上屆Estimate般可挑戰一級賽的實力，想再重溫舊年捧走雅士谷金盃或其他一級賽，殊不容易。
值得一提是Estimate是由阿加汗培育而並非模罕默酋長。牠也與英女皇大部份賽駒不同，是匹愛爾蘭馬(英女皇自己培育的絕大都是純英國血統)，父系更是德國第一長途名種Monsun。父母兩系均是氣袋，難怪去年在莫雅胯下能捧走雅士谷金盃。
不過行程緊密，我第五場後便要離開雅士谷，今晚夜機開九時十五分，明日抵港，剛好趕及有線節目錄影！
