馬場賣馬理所當然，會展賣馬亦不出奇，但今天我身在倫敦，卻是親睹皇宮賣馬。
愛爾蘭名拍賣行Goffs今次面子都夠大，不在愛爾蘭拍賣，卻借來已故戴安娜皇妃的前寓所肯辛頓宮，做兩歲試跑拍賣會。
試跑當然不在皇宮裡，甚至拍賣也不可能在戴妃寢室，但能將在皇宮的Orangery舉行，已是世界第一盛事。
這個拍賣會是只招待有邀請函的貴賓︰我不知道今天下午五時(倫敦時間)我會否見到有香港人士獲邀到場。但根據拍賣行高層私底下向我透露，因為是在皇宮裡舉行，座位亦有限，規格亦甚嚴，獲邀的港人，一隻手數晒。
今次最特別的是馬兒並不進入皇宮︰試跑在金頓園，馬房也在金頓園。拍賣時是透過從金頓園的視像直播到肯辛頓宮。換句話說，肯辛頓宮是個園遊會式的拍賣場，馬兒不潔的排洩物是不會沾污肯辛頓宮的。
買抑或不買？睇啱馬又啱價就買，但今次是個新體驗。
