終於在費明頓贏出第一場級制賽︰原本估計是「星威人旺」，但牠上季在萬利福錦標(二級賽)影相僅負一鼻，有點欠運。但今次「雷神女士」在二級賽威風錦標爆出三十五倍冷門，而且是正正式式春季嘉年華大賽，算是踏出第一步。
為何在外國贏級制賽這麼難？很簡單，香港老友的委託又或自己過往的部署，都是以運港為主。好的新馬就算試閘滿意，都未必在外國出賽，運港插四班更著數(在獎金上)，而就算是ＰＰ，都希望是部署贏低限賽事，編三班低分，望贏多幾場。
但自二零一零年掛咪後集中精神在育馬及購買雌馬，而且不以運港為目標，大賽就接踵而來。不計「好好計」遠征成功贏一級賽，「星威人旺」是二零一二年復活節購入，結果贏出三級賽女士日瓶，也在一級賽大洋洲橡樹入Ｑ，「雷神女士」則是二零一三年紐西蘭貨色，而投入配種的一批，不少首胎或次胎已贏馬，而大肆投資的則在二零一五年週歲拍賣會開始有售。
賽馬對我來說，是心機錢，有血有汗的。
