本末倒置

社會上有類人根本上唔識諗嘢, 經常將D事物本末倒置ｏ
例如教育應該是教曉D學生去學習, 去思想, 去開開心心面對將來ｏ但社會上為了加強英語教育（本來是強迫母語教育！）, 卻寧願犧牲這些學生的學習, 去加強英語的能力, 這就是標準的本末倒置例子了ｏ
星期日城市論壇有位什么陳X茜校長, 就係叫學生犧牲學習知識, 去學好英文的人！這就是本末倒置了！在這位校長女仕的思想中, 不學好英文万事皆休！誰不知, 面對人生, 同學仲有好多嘢要學好也！老師教導學生面向人生, 又點少得母語呢？
根本上這類人永遠不會明白, 用母語學習, 同學好英文是完全冇衝突的！
她是英文中學什么什么校長會主席！一力強調英文的必要和重要！思想充滿了偏見, 成見！是一個典型缺乏變通的當權派！惡而有權又冇料到！
難怪教育（咨）詢來詢去.都詢不出一正確的方向也！
眼見社會上充滿此類渾人, 黃SIR真係有理說不清之感也！
唉！點解有D香港人會咁死蠢嫁！
知識？什麼叫知識，胃裡有四種酵(enzyme)，你有讀過嗎？每一種都要讀有甚麼用。計炮彈幾時跌落地下，你有讀過嗎？F=ma，是誰發明的？以上，... 是知識嗎？我不知道，但我到現在，除了為了考試，仍不知讀來做什麼。
不如教我什麼是雷曼債券，還好。
你們中三是要讀多少科，我要讀十四科，每一科每星期一個家課，還有時間去學英文？
現在出來做事，才知英文真的很重要，那些生物的什麼光合作用、化學的鐵氧化、地理的什麼岩層，中史的什麼宋暉宗，外史的十字軍東征，全部都是花了時間而沒有用的。
如果中一至中三，只讀三科，中英數，我一定很喜歡讀書。
The problem is the the Govt/senior officials like very much to interfere with everything happening inside the SAR! Seems like they are treating us all like prisoners! Should we start an revolution to correct this phenomenon?
Furthermore about language teaching, HK is way behind all other countries. Long time ago already heard that Putonghua is taught in the States. And I also know that in an African country, which is a colony of France before, the pupils have to study their own native language, French and English as basic languages. And, they have to take the 3rd foreign language in their final 2-3 years in the secondary school (pre-University).
Even in the Southeast Asia countries, most of the Chinese there already know how to speak Putonghua, Chiuchow and/or Cantonese sialects, English and the official language of that country (such as Thai, Malaysian language, etc.)
Comparatively, the pupils in HK only studying English (EVEN IF they are allowed by the Govt to do so!!!) and Chinese, doesn't that mean they are way behind pupils of the other countries afterall? The HK Govt is really too shortsight on everything and all the HK residents, especially those youths, will suffer in the short and long run! God bless HK!
誰會叫人不學好英文, 去學D冇用知識呢？
又誰會叫人𣎴去學好有用的英文呢？
而家係講緊政府規定的不合理！
中文, 英文二分法也！
Whatever language used in school, it is just a media of communication. As you mentioned, as long as pupils grasp the knowledge and know how to think logically, and able to handle problems by themselves with such knowledge, it is fine.
Too sad to see that there are lots of idiots, especially those in the authority and senior officials, in Hong Kong who wanted/want to mix up the concepts and argue for nothing! May be they are just paid by the Great Britain and the USA for doing lot of things to deterioriate the education system in Hong Kong such that those youth won't be able to compete with British and Americans in the future. Why not ICAC be engaged to check such issues and just sit back and watch the movie playing in real lives?
如果識英語就等於有學識,有辦事能力,
那英國本土的英國人應無窮人
强調英語等於一切,對吸取智識幫助有限。
教育界忘記了我們學嘅應是智識,
而不單是一口流利英語。
