Another empty handed season
Arsene's Babies let their gaffer down this season or it's actually the belated conclusion which has been drawn since Carling Cup Final !
Why should we bear these kind of players becoz we cannot kill their chances after being patient for 6 seasons ?
Why should we give them more chances after this team can slip 4 goals lead in 1st half at Newcastle ?
How many times we have to accept reluctantly after they slipped the 2 goals lead times after times against Tottenham at home and away ?
Can the new owner believe that he owns 62 pct of Eboue , Bendtner , Clichy , Diaby , Denilson and Almunia who already played tons of matches in last few seasons while we cannot allow to buy other better players becos it will kill their playing time ?
In last 5 seasons Wenger built a team around Fabregas , but now our captain has sold his house in london and he wants to build a team around Wilshere ? Oh dear my God , does that mean he will ask the fans of this club to bear another 6 years for his another experiment ?
Changes in the summer is a MUST and it's either players or manager .
Wenger has claimed being 2nd will be a success for this club this season but it's a doubt even they can maintain the 3rd position now , Arsene , never say never but no body will believe this team not even players themselves..!!
Since losing to Birmingham in the League Cup final, Arsenal have won just 2 of 10 games (v L Orient & Blackpool). Phaethic !!
Who will renew their season tickets while the ticket price keep soaring up for nothing delivered ??!!!
Time will tell who is right .
Last September I wrote : The captain doesn't want to be there, so let him go !
Sell him, move on !
Now, in April 2011, we hear that Fabregas has sold his house.
Keeping Cesc was never going to work.
If Wenger had any balls would have taken 34 million euros from Barcelona and bought a keeper, a centreback and a striker.
This week has summed it all up neatly.
As I've said for years, Wenger's wonders are good enough to draw with anybody.
Look how different the last two games were because of three players playing badly, then well.
Against Liverpool, that was a Fabregas lookalike.
That No.4 looked like Fabregas but didn't play like him. Nasri and Walcott were also useless against Liverpool.
Song was heavily strapped and given a run-out to help him into White Hart Lane. Song made three attempts to tackle before fouling to concede the free-kick which led to the Eboue penalty fiasco. Eboue got mugged, again.
Wenger knows Eboue is not a right back because he signed Sagna.
He says his dressing room is too quiet and Eboue is jolly, noisy character who gets a vibe going. Oh dear ! Oh dear me !
In a wide open game against Spurs, Fabregas, Nasri and Walcott were dynamic and penetrating for 45 minutes and the visitors swept to a deserved 3-1 lead.
But Arsenal are too unprofessional to close the game up for five minutes, keep the ball, and give Spurs ten minutes to sit in the dressing room and think, "Bloody hell, we're 3-1 down at half-time in a game we badly need to win !"
Wenger's unprofessionals allowed Huddlestone to score from 25 yards in the most crucial moments of that match.
With Scott Parker at White Hart Lane, Arsenal would have led 3-1 at half-time.
Scott Parker is a leader. Scott Parker would have blocked Huddlestone's shot. Scott Parker is 30 and has no re-sale value.
But Scott Parker he is the best tackler in the Premier League.
Scott Parker, just voted footballer of the year, would totally transform this side
But only if Arsenal had a new striker, a top keeper and proper centrebacks
MEMO TO ARSENAL MANAGER : Sell Fabregas, make Scott Parker captain alongside Jack Wilshere. Never play Song and Diaby together again. Buy a six foot six international goalkeeper that Szczesny can learn from. Sign Gary Cahill to play with Vermaelen, who is a British player with Belgian technique.
Give Arsenal a British spine!
It's not complicated. Just do it.
