身在韓國仁川亞殘運，與香港殘奧會眾執委及政府代表在周末參加開幕式，然後一起見證港隊獲兩金一銀五銅的佳績。
去屆港隊奪五金，分布在三個項目，分別為輪椅劍擊、視障保齡球及企立羽毛球，今年在首天已獲兩金，先是陳蕊莊的輪椅Ｂ組花劍，再有智障游泳。今日香港另外的奪金希望硬地滾球開鑼，再加上今年開設智障乒乓球項目，這也是香港倫敦殘奧奪金項目，金牌得主黃家汶亦有列陣，所以今年香港隊的總成績，應是樂觀的。
其實亞運近年在亞洲地區輪流不景氣之下，主辦權你推我讓——下屆二零一八原定由越南河內，現已轉為印尼。西亞國家不是戰亂頻仍，便是財政危機，東亞國家中日韓已輪流主辦，再回他們手上並不公平。
忽萌奇想，反正二零二二甚至二六啟德體育場已完成，又有單車館及其他設施配合，條件已遠比二零零六年「香港一定得」時代優勝。一個大型體育項目，往往能維繫民心，政府值得向二零二二甚至二六的主辦權一試！
