投資美債免匯率風險

        美國第二季GDP終值及9月的消費者信心均勝預期，加強了今年美加息的預期，對美債價格造成壓力。但現時在股票市場仍然波動下，投資者風險胃納下降刺激債券需求，加上歐日等地實行寬鬆的貨幣政策，令孳息率相對較高的美債吸引力增加。

        美元強勢持續，投資美債能避免匯率風險，且對於海外投資者來說，更有機會享有匯率升值帶來的額外收入，因此美債仍受環球投資者追捧。

        但為減低息口上升的影響，選取存續期較短或高收益的債券。短期債券一般為期一至三年，在加息的預期下，投資者可盡快將到期的債券再投資於較高收益率的新債，以減低收益率上升帶來的潛在損失。

        對於高收益債券來說，美加息意味着經濟轉強，企業經營狀況良好，因此高收益債券的違約風險應將維持低位。同時高收益債券的票息收入將較可能抵銷短期息口上升令債價下跌的損失，而對長線持有高收益債券至到期日的投資者來說，更可在低違約風險下盡享較高的票息收入。
