前幾天收到一張HK$26,784的支票，是Metlife保險公司郵寄給我的。
原來這是一份意外保險的退款。我是一個很容易幫襯人買保險的人，很多張信用卡都會附加上一份各式各樣的可退款(Refundable)保險。這份Metlife保險是在2001年買的，每月供款$279，為期八年。保單內容很簡單，如我意外身亡受益人會獲賠款HK$600K，若在公共交通工具上發生意外以致死亡就會雙倍賠款，但如果我是其他原因導致死亡，死亡保障則只有HK$5,000。原來轉眼八年過去了，我亦真的收到退款支票。Metlife有給我一份新保單，但月費要$418，我覺得有點貴，便沒續保，反正這類保險我還有幾份。
有些朋友很不相信保險，遇到有經紀向他們推銷保險都會避之則吉，但我對保險的感覺頗為正面。我就當是一份額外儲蓄，雖然數目不算好多，但到年老時也是一份收入。又於我沒後代，所以我沒買term plan，我只會買有儲蓄成份的保險計劃。我有三份AXA的保單是十年至二十年前買的，當然我還在供款，但到我60歲時可取回~HK$1M。這麼多年我跟我的受益人亦享有保障，我覺得是不錯的安排。
外國有一種做法，保險持有人可把保單折現賣給一些投資公司，投資公司便會成為受益人，到保單持有人過身，投資公司便可賺回差價。好像說有些華爾街投行為了增加收入，也在研究這門生意。不知香港有沒有呢？

Yes I went to the game tonight although I don't follow Hong Kong football at all and was never a SCAA fan! It is very near to a full house if not so, and it was so crowded and fans were so excited. I didn't know their shirt came from the Arsenal shirt but of course I see a resemblance.
I also quit HK football after Bulova withdrew. I used to be a Seiko fan -- the Wu Kwok-Hung, Ho Sun-Wah, Derek Currie era.
Still remember a game which Seiko was down 0-4 vs SCAA in first half and overturned and took the game 5-4. Derek Currie scored the winner. Amazing!
The last time I encountered a Hong Kong player was in 1985. I went to Excelsior Hotel to find Bryan Robson for an autograph, and I met Derek Parlane of Bulova at the lobby. I asked him for an autograph too and we talked a bit. He was a very nice gentle guy. My young days

do u know the colour of south china shirt i.e. red shirt and white sleeves came from arsenal ...? Since Seiko n Boluva was withdrawn from the league then i hv not watched hkg football except hong kong football team , but in last few years not much exciting games i can remember as Japan/S Korea are too strong which we cannot challege any more.. Maybe coming South East Asian games i may go to see Hong kong team again...

Persie： 你講嘅保險計劃香港冇，但有另一類似計劃可以研究，就係樓宇逆按揭：將自己名下無抵押嘅樓宇按俾銀行或金融機構，每月收回一筆現金作生活費，百年之後層樓歸銀行或有關機構所有。 好多長者畢生積蓄就係層樓，冇乜現金，香港亦冇全民養老金，佢哋日常生活費可能籌措困難，逆按揭可以幫到佢哋。

行過一大段人生路，我明白到人有健康身體，已較好多人幸運。再有相愛的人同在，就是人上人了！

2007年 7 月至10月18日 , 3個月賺了7位數字 , 其實對股票一無所知 , 心存僥倖 ,所以狠心不下 , 結果2008年一月就賠了接近四倍 , 現在仍還息中 ,但心引大 , 不時"賭"股 , 正學習自制 .
上有兩老 , 下也有兩細 , 以前嫌煩躁 ; 當窮困及健康惡化後 , 才董珍惜雙孖寶是自己一生的寶藏 , 更感謝枕邊人的不離棄 , 希望健康快樂就是我送給我的至愛 .

I can’t tell you how happy I am watching last night’s game, although we were down twice in the game. The goals we conceded gave us some food for thought, as they were quite childish mistakes (or what we called school boy errors). However, our goals were just sheer pleasure to the eyes. 6 goals scored by 6 different players are very special, and Diary and Rosicky also came very close to scoring too. We could have 8 different players scoring 8 goals!
However, how come when Cesc passed the goal to Arshavin to score 3-2 Cesc did not go hug Arshavin? Instead he ran towards the net to pick up the ball. There were other incidences too which I saw … is Arshavin getting along well with others? I hope he does. He is still far from his best at Zenit. I am waiting for him to give me his very best!!!
I am so glad to see Thierry Henry, who seemed to enjoy the game very much.
hi persie, enjoyed tonight football ? Fabregas scored 1 and made 4 assists... wow. I hope when they return from next international break, they can still keep such momentum.. why ain't I watching chelsea/liverpool ? well.. when u just tasted a big buffet then u won't get interested for set dinner in such short time.
